Back at the Sportsman at last. Weve had many excellent gigs by these three talanted lads and this will be no exception. Expect funk, rock and plenty of jamming!

Everybody at The Sportsman wishes all the best to Jay Petherbridge and Tom Stabler who are both leaving the Sportsman to go to University.

Jay is going to Chester University (yes that is in Cheshire Jay) to do Film and TV production and tom is going to Leeds to do Music whilst his excellent band Keys To Machinery maintains its progress towards the upcoming album release. We wish them both the very best and hope to see them again soon at the sportsman.

For the next couple of weeks one of our six real ales will be Morrissey Fox Blonde Ale. This 4.2% golden coloured ale is brewed by Neil Morrissey and friends at Ye Olde Punch Bowl Inn at Marton-Cum-Grafton near York for the new TV series 'Perfect Pint'. Try the beer then watch it being brewed on the telly.
